According to the latest issue of Famitsu, four of Japan's leading game designers will create special missions for the upcoming PSP game Tenchu: Shinobi Taizen. Sega's Sonic Team chief Yuji Naka, Shin Megami Tensei creator Koji Okada, Level 5 president Akihiro Hino, and ChunSoft president Koichi Nakamura are among those signing on to the project.

The missions will all be created with Shinobi Taizen's map construction mode, which lets users make their own missions. Gamers can share their own original missions via a Memory Stick Duo or the Internet, which is how the special stages will also be offered. The game's publisher, From Software, will distribute the missions on a weekly basis after the game's release July 28. Details on where to download the missions will be on the bonus Universal Media Disc packaged with preorders of Tenchu: Shinobi Taizen.
