Sony today announced a new PlayStation 4 bundle themed around Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. The system, which launches alongside the game this April for $400, comes with a "gray blue" image of series hero Nathan Drake on the console and a matching DualShock 4. The system itself also has the Latin phrase "Sic parvis magna" ("greatness from small beginnings") emblazoned on it. This is also written on the ring that Drake wears in the game.
The bundle also comes with a copy of the game itself.
In addition, Sony announced that everyone who preorders the special-edition system gets a voucher for some Uncharted 4 content, including a golden weapon skin and a character outfit based on Drake's look in the first game, Drake's Fortune. People who preorder also get an unspecified quantity of "Uncharted Points" to spend in the game's multiplayer mode.
Additionally, should you like the gray blue color design and are looking for another DualShock 4, Sony will sell the controller separately in March for $65. On top of that, a gray blue version of Sony's "Gold" headset will arrive in March for $100. It also comes with the "Sic parvis magna" inscription written in gold.
Sony also said that an audio mode customized for Uncharted 4 will be available through the headset's companion app when Uncharted 4 arrives in April.
After another delay, Uncharted 4 is now scheduled to arrive in late April 2016 exclusively for PlayStation 4. In other news, game director Neil Druckmann recently talked about saying goodbye to Drake and the Uncharted series, as well as the game's branching dialogue sections. Additionally, toy company NECA has unveiled its new Nathan Drake action figure.
