PS4 launch bundles back in stock on Amazon

Watch Dogs, Battlefield 4, and Knack bundles now available through online retailer, while non-bundle editions remain sold out.

PlayStation 4 launch-day bundles are back in stock on Amazon, after the online retailer sold through all units earlier this month.

The official Amazon Video Games Twitter account says the bundles are "guaranteed on release date," though Sony has yet to announce an official launch day for the PS4.

PS4 Bundles available through Amazon include Battlefield 4 + PlayStation Plus ($500), Killzone: Shadow Fall + PlayStation Plus ($500), Knack ($460), and Watch Dogs ($460). A PlayStation Plus subscription is required to play PS4 titles online.

Non-bundle PS4 launch editions remain sold out.

By comparison, standard Xbox One units are available on Amazon, though all launch-day Xbox One systems are sold out through the retailer.

looks like sony is a little more desperate to make some money...I mean they are in debt so keep wrangling up them sheep after e3...only thing is with all these reversal's in Microsoft's policy, the clear console of choice is clear to me...the xbox one..I have the option to play games with kinnect...which sony does not completely offer and their ps eye will be a cheap gimmick...also the xbox has my favorite controller of all time...so its really a no brainer..add dead rising 3, quantum break, halo 5, forza 5, sunset overdrive, project spark, and many many more exclusives...plus the early dlc for COD and battlefield 4 and exclusive content for fifa 14 ultimate team! omg I can't wait for my launch edition x1!!!! the sky's the limit with the cloud

Can't wait 'till the release, got my PS4 guaranteed on launch day at gamestop :-) YAY!

And I think which console to get is a no brainer, the X1 is going to be the 360 launch disaster all over again. Since the reveal of the X1 in may everything about it seems to be rushed like the 360.

The policies like the DRM and the always online had not been tested before the announcement and thats why they got such bad publicity typical of MS, seems that there is no thought behind the X1. And I think that is why they have done these 180 reversals, had they not rushed everything they would probably have noticed the negative reactions it would get.

The difference when it comes to Sony is that they seem to have considered many options on which way to take the PS4, they have put alot of thought behind every decision when it comes to software and hardware to really make it the best games console on the market this gen.

In my opinion the PS4 really feels like a great quality console everything feels so well thought out and I know it will give me many years of gaming and the X1 is probably going to suffer hardware issues on the early consoles.

And after what MS tried to do to consumers I don't understand how anyone can trust them to do the right thing in the future? I haven't trusted MS since the 360 launch and I will never trust them again, with anything period.

SONY has had the PS4 under development for 5 years i do think that they will have a easier time pushing out great quantity of consoles at high quality. Even If Sony has less quantity than MS everyone that buys a PS4 will know that what they are buying is a console of great quality.

MS will probably do what they always do have great quantity at crap quality for the first 1-2 years, because that is MS company policy!

That is what I think.

and I know I'm gonna get the MS fanboys all riled up and angry, but you're welcome to be as angry as you want those responses are the funniest ones to read cause 90% is total ignorance.

got an email from Amazon confirming my Launch Day Edition that I order on Day 1 to arrive on Jan. 6th 2014. Why hasn't Sony confirmed a launch date and why is Amazon toying with my emotions?

All of you are fools. What launch in the history of game was great? Or maybe I'm too old now that I'm 30.

There's no need to rush to buy this. I'm giving out 10/1 odds that the majority of these systems will be collecting dust while developers continue to make games for the 160 million+ ps3/360s already in the US market.

You're better off building a custom gaming rig and waiting for a price cut + a decent library of games.

Just my TWO BITS =)

I have both consoles pre-ordered but may only go with one or the other...right now im torn between the two but im liking the ps4 exclusives more...however i do like titanfall, spark and ryse could be cool.

@xboxoneforallErm - wait - actually, xbox didnt win the last race... or the one before that. playstation has always been the worldwide most sold console.. ps2, ps3, and as of right now the ps4 has more pre-orders. do a quick google search and you can verify the same.. but im sure you dont have the attention span for anything that didnt come out of your ass. :)

cheers mate

@megakick Its funny, because MS have been charging for online play since last gen, and IMO the quality of online play didnt vary that much when compared to my free PS3 online gaming experience. I really do hope for the sake of all you XB FBs, that some serious improvements are made to those so called private servers you've been paying for. In addition the PS+ gives you access to a host of benefits incl free games which arent a decade old, I can only assume this will be carried over to next gen as well.

SW1FT_AcTi0nz
SW1FT_AcTi0nz

@megakick Why are people still complaining about this. Microsoft has been doing this for years and this is going to make the online service better.

@deadly_yank33 The better games will eventually come out on the PS4, they always do.  The only thing MS do well is buy timed exclusives and DLC so you feel better about your lack of options.

@__Metallica I don't know... I'm sure the PS4 will be a fine gaming sstem, but as for hardware issues... The PS4 and the X-Box 1 have very similar guts and architecture... Yet the Xbox One is the size of an olf VCR with massive fans and vents all over, while the PS4 is just a sliver...

As an electronic technician that throws up some flags.   I'm going to wait and see on the PS4, Sony might have gotten a bit over-ambitious with the design.

@steelmouth

Um when did they say that?

What they actually said was that the PS4 will most likely not be able to meet retail demands.

IndoorActivist

@slefo29 I see your point, however, with the way PC gaming has advanced i believe that the development process will not be as slow as it has previously been.  Developers are up to speed alot more on this next gen than any other before it.

Unfortunately XBOX is a crap slower more uncomfortable system to develop for and may cause problems which will hold up development time.

murderek

@slefo29 Ya.. I'm a fool because I'll be playing Forza 5, Madden 25, Killzone, Dead Rising 3, Ghosts, Battlefield 4, Watch Dogs, Fifa 14, NBA 2k14, Assassin's Creed 4 and UFC on new consoles in November and you won't? : P

I play PC as well (4670k / GTX 770 blah blah blah..) but not everyone wants to build a "gaming rig", dude.

Why would these "fools" build a $1000 - $1500 PC if they could just buy a $400 - $500 console that will give them 60 FPS?

@slefo29 I just want one so I can sell it for double the price and get my own after the new year.

@slefo29 I am going to have to agree with you aside from calling people fools. Decent games won't emerge until mid to late 2014. I have no problem waiting.

@Matcam89 titanfall is a timed exclusive, spark is lbp/minecraft clone done next gen... if you like making things and ryse is one huge qte and i mean that quite literally.

Well PS4 will run at a temperature of 45-55 degrees celsius according to the American FCC, unlike the PS3 that runs at about 60 degrees. Now I'm not American so I don't know how reliable the FCC is, so I'm not worried about that.

Well the PS4 will run at a temperature between 45-55 degrees celsius according to the American FCC. The PS4 has been approved by them to a reliable pice of hardware. Now I'm not American so I'm not really sure of how trustworthy the FCC is.

deadly_yank33

@Devils-DIVISION @steelmouth yes there is no pre-order limits...but that does not mean you are guaranteed a launch edition...it will be rolled out every week or so like what happened with this current gen

deadly_yank33
deadly_yank33

@leviathanwing @Matcam89 let's see...titanfall will never be on ps4...project spark is a million games in one and something lbp will never amount too...and ryse will be better than heavy rain...which if I remember was one big qte....and he has quantum break, dead rising 3, forza 5 (better than gran turismo) and halo 5 to look forward to too!

killzone and infamous are 30fps games in 2013,...I mean seriously? hahahaha naughty dog is the only thing keeping sony from filing for bankruptcy

It has been many years since I was into PC gaming and building PC's so I don't know anything it seem anymore so I asked a friend of mine that is a computer engineer his job is to know all this stuff so I don't doubt his insight on the GDDR5 versus DDR3. And according to him the GDDR5 and DDR3 is good for different things but when you are talking consoles the GDDR5 has a SIGNIFICANT advantage over the DDR3. And it's much faster and better when it comes to graphics and games, he think's that one of the reasons MS went with DDR3 is because of the tv and all the multitasking stuff that's where the DDR3 may have a small advantage but it has no chance against the GDDR5 when it comes to games, and that's counting the eSRAM.

Time will tell. I never actually got a ps3. But I am on my fourth Xbox 360. I got my first Xbox 360 with the xenon chipset and then I got the falcon chipset with my next 360 and then I got the jasper chipset 360 and now I have my slim which I haven't had any problems with. I definitely won't be getting an Xbox one at launch but I did preorder a ps4 this time. I've actually never bought a PlayStation system before but I have quite a few Sony products in my house and they've all lasted forever. As for simple hardware Manufacturing Sony is far superior to Microsoft in my opinion and from my personal experiences with the 360 (and I've had ALL the models fail on me as I've stated). When Microsoft's proven the reliability of Xbox one after 6 to 8 months and gets rid of the motion controls(which they'll undoubtedly do). I'll definitely pick one up

GryffinDarkBred
GryffinDarkBred

@mattress805 GDDR is also a lot SLOWER than DDR.  And the downclocking was due to supply chain issues with getting parts last I heard.  Either way, I'm wary of the PS4.  I'll wait for a while to see if the PS4 has overheating issues.
