PS4 getting 100 games in 2014
Sony says more than 100 titles are planned for release later this year.
More than 100 PlayStation 4 games are expected to launch on the system this year, Sony revealed last night through a tweet on its official Twitter channel.
"Here's a fun fact: More than 100 PS4 games are planned for release in 2014," the tweet reads. "Stay tuned for more updates from today's media summit." It's unclear how many Xbox One games are coming to that system this year.
Some of the biggest announced titles coming to PS4 in 2014 include Bungie's Destiny, Activision's new Call of Duty game, The Elder Scrolls Online, Metal Gear Solid V, and Watch Dogs.
GameSpot attended yesterday's media event and will have more from it later on. The highlight of the event was no doubt the announcement of a spring 2014 release date for the PlayStation Vita Slim, which is already available in Japan and the United Kingdom.
The PS Vita Slim (PCH-2000 series) will be available this spring through the $200 Borderlands 2 Limited Edition Bundle. It includes Gearbox's hit shooter with six DLC packs, as well as an 8GB memory card.
