Sony will show off gameplay for upcoming role-playing game Bloodborne, a PlayStation 4 exclusive from the makers of Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, tomorrow during its Gamescom briefing, the company announced today. Sony teased tomorrow's reveal through a video on Instagram (above) showing a dungeon door shaking as a (probably nasty) force on the other side bangs on it.

Sony's Gamescom conference kicks off tomorrow, August 12, at 10 AM PDT (after Microsoft's and before Electronic Arts').

Originally leaked as "Project Beast," the game was officially announced as Bloodborne during Sony's E3 press conference in early June. The game is in development at From Software in association with Sony Japan Studio. Demon's Souls key designer Hidetaka Miyazaki is at the helm of Bloodborne after he did not work on Dark Souls II, except in a supervisory role.

From Software announced last month that Bloodborne would be playable at Gamescom, marking the game's first public appearance. Tickets for the show, held August 13-17 in Cologne, Germany, are sold out. However, if you show up at the venue after 2 PM local time, you'll have a shot at buying a discounted ticket. Details about these special tickets are available on the Gamescom website.
