Open-world winter sports game Snow has been on PC for more than three years, and now it's coming to PS4. The free-to-play game's beta starts on October 25, but it will cost you money to play it during this phase.

To jump into Snow's beta, you'll need to pay $20. In addition to beta access, this gets you the Founder's Pack, which comes with over $30 worth of in-game items. They include two full outfits, skis, a snowboard, and a golden snowmobile and drone. The gold items are exclusive to PS4 during the beta.

PlayStation Plus subscribers unlock additional items, including a beta-exclusive outfit that's inspired by the '80s and comes with a matching snowboard and skis. You can take a look at all of the items mentioned in the gallery above.

Snow is currently in Early Access on Steam, and if you have a PC, you can play it right now for free. Its mountain, Sialia, features a bunch of areas to explore, including a wrecked cargo plane, an observatory, and an old castle. You can start snowboarding, skiing, and snowmobiling across the mountain from over 24 drop points that each house different challenges and elements.

Additionally, developer Poppermost Productions announced that it's teamed up with ESPN to bring the Winter X Games to Snow. The studio says it is working "to recreate the exact [courses] from the 2016 Winter X Games in Aspen," including the Slopestyle, Super Pipe, and Big Air courses. And if you complete the three events with Gold medals, you'll unlock an exclusive in-game X Games hoodie.

Snow isn't the only winter sports game releasing on PS4 this year. Ubisoft's Steep launches in December and is confirmed to take advantage of the upcoming, more powerful PS4 Pro. In addition to PS4, it comes to Xbox One and PC on December 2.
