PS4 action game Infamous: Second Son available for $36 today

Sucker Punch's PlayStation 4 game is today's Amazon Deal of the Day; plus, you can score a deal on Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Amazon's Deal of the Day today is for Sucker Punch Productions' PlayStation 4 action game Infamous: Second Son. All day today you can grab the well-received title for $36, which is 40 percent off its normal price. The deal is good for the physical disc version of the game only, not the digital version, which Amazon continues to sell for $60.

Infamous: Second Son is not the only video game on sale today at Amazon. Until 9 a.m. EDT, you can get Lego Marvel Super Heroes for a markdown that varies by platform--the game is going for $20 on PC and $38 for consoles, except Xbox One. In addition, starting at 9 a.m. EDT, you'll be able to grab Infinity Ward's Call of Duty: Ghosts for $32 on Xbox One/PS4 and $25 for Xbox 360/PS3.

For more on the game's mentioned in this post, be sure to read GameSpot's reviews of Infamous: Second Son, Lego Marvel Super Heroes, and Call of Duty: Ghosts. Thank you, ThriftyNerd, for the tip.

Great deal. I platinumed this one. Meh story but incredible visuals and gameplay.

It's a good deal; I wish I would have waited in this case, I found the game very poor.

I would give this one a 7 on the GS scale.  I played and finished it but am not too interested in going back.  I was mildly disappointed after how great inFamous II was.  The story started great but then got lost as you had to do a large number of repetitive district clean outs.  They failed to develop potentially interesting sub-plots and did a "seen it a 100 plus times" plot development during the second part of the game.  Gameplay was good but the boss battles where a chore too often.  The last boss battle was well done as you have to learn a new power while avoiding a tough challenge.

and....  Seattle is a great place to video game Parkour!

You can also pop a Platinum trophy after two brief playthroughs, it's worth playing, but not owning
