PS3 Under Siege May 3
Move-compatible real-time strategy game from Portuguese outfit Seed Studios dated for PSN; European launch set for April 27.
To date, the only real-time strategy game supporting Sony's PlayStation Move controller has been R.U.S.E. That Move-compatible market is about to double in size, as Portuguese developer Seed Studios has confirmed release dates for the downloadable Under Siege.
Set for a North American debut May 3 and European launch April 27, Under Siege plays out in a medieval fantasy setting. When the leader of the fortified collection of cities known as The Citidel unleashes a monstrous army on the world, a group of heroes from independent villages band together to thwart his plans.
While the game is compatible with the motion-sensing Move controller, it is also playable with a standard PS3 DualShock controller. Under Siege also features two-player online or split-screen gameplay, as well as a mode-and-mission editor. On the game's official site, Seed Studios emphasizes that the mission editor is "the same exact tool that was used by the team to create all of the levels," and is available from the game's start.
