PS2 Rainbow Six 3 goes gold

The Sony port of Ubisoft's Tom Clancy-based tactical shooter assaults the factory.

Soon, another group of gamers will be able to join Team Rainbow. Ubisoft announced today that Rainbow Six 3 for the PlayStation 2 has gone gold. (It is already available for the Xbox.) Based on Tom Clancy's fiction, the first-person shooter features tactical, team-oriented gameplay that's similar to the popular PC series of the same name. The game's story chronicles the elite commando team of Ding Chavez and the various stealthy and deadly antiterrorist operations it undertakes. Rated "M" for Mature, the game will ship to stores on March 23.
