PlayStation 3 owners looking to step into the batters' box and take a few hacks before committing to a one-year, $60 contract with MLB 2K7 can now do so. The PlayStation Store, Sony's online marketplace for downloadable content, has been updated with a demo of the baseball game, as well as some new videos.

Sony didn't release details on the PS3 MLB 2K7 demo, except that it is free of charge. A demo of the Xbox 360 version was released in late February and featured a rematch of Game 7 of the 2006 National League Championship Series between the New York Mets and St. Louis Cardinals.

Gamers can now get an up-close look at one of Sony's biggest announcements of Game Developers Conference 2007, the real-time 3D community Home. Now available on the PS Store is a high-definition video detailing the service, which is due out later this year.

A pair of trailers for two entirely different games (save for the emphasis of Sixaxis tilt control) is also on the PS Store. Gamers can now catch a glimpse of Incognito's sci-fi shooter Warhawk, as well as the bathtub fun of Sony's Super Rub-A-Dub. Both games are expected to be available from the PS Store later this year.

Movie trailers from Paramount Pictures are also available for download, but Sony did not specify which titles.
