Project X Zone breaks out this October in Japan

The upcoming Sega, Namco Bandai, and Capcom collaboration RPG also announces new characters in the mix.

The latest issue of Famitsu revealed the release date of the upcoming role-playing game Project X Zone (via Tales Source). The game will be out on October 11 in Japan.

There are crossovers aplenty in this upcoming 3DS RPG.

The article also revealed new additions to the RPG roster. They include Imca from Valkyria Chronicles 3, Arthur from Ghosts 'n Goblins, Flynn from Tales of Vesperia, and Devilot from Cyberbots.

Project X Zone is a collaborative game effort between Namco Bandai, Sega, and Capcom. The game is developed by Monolith Soft, a team known for creating the Xenosaga series, Namco X Capcom, and Xenoblade Chronicles.

There is no word on an English version of the game in the works. For more information, check out GameSpot's impressions on the RPG.

They keep ignoring the western and console gaming audience with these games. Even if they released a game like this for westerners and maybe some kind of console version, released via PSN/XBLA...

(o_o) ... Hmm, I am actually interested to see what this is about, I mean, I am willing to look at it, but my greatest fear is that I'll love it and it won't come out.  Sigh, plus, I'm afraid it will break my tellling capcom to make MML3 or at least, sell it.
