City Interactive announces that the release of its space strategy sequel has been delayed until next year. New screens inside.

City Interactive has today announced on its official site that its sequel to Project Earth, which is now known by the working title P2, has been delayed until early next year. No reason has been given for the game's delay at this time, although the recent name change from Project Earth 2 has, according to City Interactive, come about as a result of certain license laws and publishing plans.

P2 is a story-driven real-time space strategy game that will see players assuming command of a small group of unjustly exiled people seeking to prove their innocence. For more information on P2, which is now scheduled for release in Q1 2004, check out our previous coverage of the game.
