F.E.A.R. 3's journey to retail has thus far been of the timid sort, considering it was given its second substantive delay yesterday. However, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Day 1 Studios won't be playing it safe with the game's Collector's Edition packaging. Today, the publisher revealed F.E.A.R. 3's premium-edition contents, with the most notable pack-in being a 3-inch collectible figurine of a naked, pregnant demon girl.

That demon girl, of course, is Alma, the game's psychic antagonist who appears at different times as a frightening young child and a young, emaciated woman. At the end of F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, Alma is shown to have been impregnated by the game's playable character, Sergeant Michael Becket. Naturally, the figurine also glows in the dark.

They say all new mothers glow.

Beyond the Alma figurine, the F.E.A.R. 3 Collector's Edition has a number of standard premium-purchase perks. These include an exclusive F.E.A.R. 3 comic book, produced by DC Comics, as well as a download card for the powerful Hammer, the gun wielded by the original game's antagonist, Paxton Fettel. The Collector's Edition also features SteelBook packaging.

WBIE did not provide a price for the Collector's Edition and had not responded to a request for the information as of press time. For more on F.E.A.R. 3--which will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in May--check out GameSpot's previous coverage.
