Pre-TGS: New media: Sky Gunner

Sony Computer Entertainment has released a new direct-feed video clip of Sky Gunner for the PlayStation 2. As seen in the video, the game has a cartoony visual style, with vibrant and colorful environments and offbeat characters. Sky Gunner is a shooter that is played primarily from a behind-the-back perspective. However, as players maneuver around specific targets, the camera rotates to maintain the most optimal view of the target itself. In this way, players must shoot down hordes of enemy crafts, which include planes, battleships, and other assorted vehicles.

Sky Gunner will be released for the Japanese PlayStation 2 this summer. A North American release date has not been announced at this time.
