Pre-TGS: First look: Poinie's Poin

Sony Computer Entertainment has announced Poinie's Poin, its new action game, for the PlayStation2. The game takes place in Jellytown--the main character, Poin, loses sight of her mother and is lost in town. Lilin, another charactermakes a deal with her to help find her mom, but only if she agrees to use "poins" to solve the problems around town. While searching for Poin's home and fighting against the evil Lolo, players are taken to other worlds such as lakes, jungles, a dream world, a fire world, an ice world, and many others. The game will have both Japanese and English language options on DVD-ROM.

Poinie's Poin is scheduled for release this year in Japan.
