Golden years.

The upcoming big screen reboot of Power Rangers has introduced plenty of changes to its iconic characters and robotic warriors. Many of these have been revealed by the movie's toyline, and the latest is no different. It's Goldar, the monstrous henchman to evil Rita Repulsa, and he can be seen in this toy ad--check it out here:

Last month, a toy catalogue image showed what the full lineup of Zords would look like. In the classic TV show, the Zords are colossal mechanical or bio-mechanical robots. When the Rangers' monstrous enemies grow to incredible sizes, the only way they can fight them is by summoning and piloting these enormous war machines.

New images of Rita Repulsa, played by Elizabeth Banks, were also released in November, again looking very different to how she did on the show.

Power Rangers opens in theaters on March 24, 2017, directed by Dean Israelite. It also stars Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, RJ Cyler, Becky G, Ludi Lin, and Bryan Cranston. The first trailer was released in October.

Power Rangers first appeared on screens in 1993's Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. The show mixed new American scenes with footage taken from the Japanese show Super Sentai. To date there have been 23 TV series and two earlier movies.
