"Aye-yi-yi!"

2017's Power Rangers movie will feature the franchise's robot, Alpha 5, and it will be voiced by Bill Hader. The news comes from the official Power Rangers movie Twitter account, which included the robot's famous catchphrase, "Aye-yi-yi!," in its tweet.

Hader is known for his performances on Saturday Night Live and the 2015 Judd Apatow comedy Trainwreck. He also contributed to the voice of Star Wars: The Force Awakens' BB-8 droid.

Hader joins other stars including Bryan Cranston (Zordon) and Elizabeth Banks (Rita Repulsa). Banks tweeted about the Alpha 5 casting news, saying she's excited that Hader, a "great American," will play the robot.

In other news about Power Rangers, pictures of the film's Zords, which are the metallic dinosaur mechs that the Rangers pilot against enemies, have been released--see them here. Also, don't expect to see cameos from actors on the original show. Walter Jones, who played the Black Ranger in the '90s TV show said they were not invited to make cameos in the film.

Hunger Games studio Lionsgate, which is producing the film, is optimistic about Power Rangers. Its CEO said earlier this year that the film series could span up to seven movies.

Power Rangers is helmed by Dean Israelite, who also directed Project Almanac. It's set to hit theaters March 24, 2017.
