Portal 2 Tests of the Week - Puzzles! Time Travel!

There's a Stargate-looking time portal in this week's selection of player-made puzzles.

In our second weekly round-up of the Perpetual Testing puzzles we've been playing, you'll find a pair of elegant testing chambers--one little, one huge and twisty--and a terrific proof of concept for time travel, Aperture-style (the latter is built with the Hammer tools rather than the Perpetual Testing kit). Enjoy!

Download this week's tests from the Steam Workshop:

Have you made your own test chambers? Seen any you think should be featured? Let us know in the comments below, or tweet us @gamespotuk!

Bold choice in picking someone who's never used a mouse before to play these levels.

Wow, i will never watch another one of these videos with that guy controlling.  I now have a headache.  Thanks.

I can't watch that video with him/her (kid?) flicking the camera in all directions and yet looking at nothing!

I just saw a vid that was neither informative or entertaining, more like fumbling around in the dark (both player and host).

Next time give the guy a chance to play and figure the chamber BEFORE putting it on the site.

Then he can walk us through it and tell us what he is doing and why.

We know that they said he was a console gamer, but you can turn down the sensitivity a little so we can actually see it.

That time travel thing is awesome.  Hope to see it in a full-fledged campaign soon.

Love portal. Hate the crazy screen flinging. Turn down the sensitivity or buy a new mouse!

Why the heck cant he use the mouse as a normal human being? WTF does he have to sway abruptly all the time?

think there's allot of scope with time travel portals. think valve would have a field day with a idea like that!dont suppose there's any maps featuring a giant array of gun turrets yet?

 @Phazevariance

Yup. Same here, great idea putting control over the gameplay in the hands of someone who hasn't played the PC version before. Pure genius. This is not comfortable to watch.

@demetrius1991 Ever think that not all video games are about killing people? You didnt? You don't need bloody action to make a good game.

@ipackheat Obviously @demetrius1991 must have been an excellent test subject, setting a baseline for other testers. Not all test subjects are able to successfully progress through the testing environment, after all.

@karloss01 yeah, me too. got myself a PS3, my favourite platform is still the PC though and i also have some xbox360 controllers for those driving games, platformers and some third person action games. but not an xbox360. although i wouldn't mind it droping in my lap, but i wont pay money for it.

seems to me that console fanatics want to prove something or that somehow console gaming is the bizness. it's not.
