Popular Science Honors Dreamcast
Popular Science recognizes the Sega Dreamcast as one of the most important and innovative products of 1999.
Popular Science has selected the Sega Dreamcast as one of the winners of the magazine's coveted "Best of What's New" award. The award, now in its 12th year, distinguishes innovative and important technology developments and achievements. Popular Science cited the Dreamcast's design, graphical capabilities, and Internet connectivity.
"Sega Dreamcast is honored to be recognized as a revolutionary technological development by Popular Science Magazine," said Peter Moore, senior vice president of Sega of America. "Through its evolutionary architecture, the Sega Dreamcast will continue to expand the way people play by growing and changing to match advances in the industry and the needs and desires of the consumer."
The "Best of What's New" awards feature can be found in the December 1999 issue of Popular Science.
