The Pokemon Go Plus is out now. The wearable device costs $35, and you should be able to pick one up for yourself as long as stock suffices at places like Amazon and GameStop, which only carries the device in its online store.

Before you buy a Plus, there are some things you need to know. It alerts you of Pokemon and PokeStops, but there are some things it can't do. For example, you can only catch Pokemon you've already added to your Pokedex with it. Additionally, you'll need to take out your phone to collect any items from PokeStops you come across. If you want a more robust experience, it was recently announced that Pokemon Go is coming to Apple Watch. The augmented-reality game displays several pieces of information, including distance needed to hatch eggs, remaining XP to the next level, and any nearby Pokemon. You'll need to take your phone out to try your hand at catching them, but there are certain you can do directly on the watch, such as collecting items from PokeStops.

The Plus was originally supposed to release in July, closer to the launch of Pokemon Go. However, the accessory was delayed. In its pre-sales phase, it sold out and started appearing on eBay for prices upwards of $100--some were even on sale for more than $200.
