In Pokemon Go, you catch Pokemon in the real world. So the game was bound to lead to some crazy stories about where people catch the creatures.

Now, just days after release, comes a story of a man catching a Pokemon while his wife gave birth. Reddit user Bringther1ot posted the image below of himself catching a Pidgey as his wife prepared to deliver their child by C-section. His caption is just about perfect: "When your wife is about to have a baby and a Pokemon shows up and you have to low-key catch it..."

The man, whose real name is Jonathan Theriot , told BuzzFeed that he just couldn't wait to catch the Pidgey.

"As soon as it popped up, I was like, 'Oh my gosh, there's a Pidgey sitting on your bed!'" he said to his wife, Jessica. "So, I screenshotted it, then caught it and showed it to her."

Some people spoke out against Theriot for playing a game while his wife was in labor, but he said, "She wasn't mad at all."

"She just kind of laughed at it," Theriot explained. "It was primarily an eyeroll once she realized what I was doing."

The baby, Ireland Sage Theriot, was born on Thursday, July 7.
