Pocket Monsters: Live From Japan!

GameSpot News recently got its hands on a tape featuring the infamous episode of the Japanese television show, Pocket Monsters.

This is the children's TV show that made headlines around the world when hundreds of children reported becoming ill from a segment in the show that featured a dizzying display of flashing red and blue screens.

Here is the snippet of the show in question (from a mid-December broadcast date). Given the limitations of video transmission on the Web, the red and blue flashing lights don't appear to be quite as menacing as it does on the video - which may be just as well.
