No Caption Provided It's a bustling week on the PlayStation Network, as a string of demos for anticipated upcoming games, as well as three new PlayStation 3 games and new DLC, arrived on Sony's download hub.

Leading the pack this week are four new demos, the first of which is for BioWare's upcoming fantasy role-playing game Dragon Age II. In the demo, gamers will be able to play through Dragon Age II's prologue as one of three character classes. The demo will introduce the game's primary protagonist, Hawke, and see him journey to Kirkwall to rendezvous with romantic interest Isabela. Gamers who complete the demo will also unlock Hayder's Razor, a dwarven blade that grants health, mana, and combat bonuses for use in the full game.

Additionally, if at least 1 million gamers download the Dragon Age II demo by March 1, two in-game bonus items will be unlocked for the entire community. Dragon Age II is due out on March 8.

Gamers who prefer lightsabers to swords can download a demo for Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars today. Developer Traveller's Tales will introduce new battle modes with Lego Star Wars III, including close-encounter combat techniques and the ability to build customized bases and fortresses. Gamers can take the side of either a Jedi or a Separatist, each of which comes with its own special abilities.

The string of new demos now available continues with a sampler for Yakuza 4. The demo will let players try out all four of the characters and their respective fighting styles. PlayStation Plus subscribers were able to download the demo last week, but now all PlayStation Network members can grab the trial.

The fourth demo out now is for the latest installment of Sony's flagship baseball game. Gamers eager to get the baseball season started can grab a demo for MLB 11: The Show today from the PlayStation Network. The sampler lets gamers play four innings in San Francisco's AT&T Park in a World Series rematch against the Texas Rangers. The demo also boasts the game’s new Pure Analog Control system, which allows players to hit, field, and pitch with "unparalleled precision."

Another hot-ticket DLC item out now is the Dead Money ($10) content for Fallout: New Vegas. The content sees players kidnapped and compelled to recover the fabled treasure of the Sierra Madre casino with the help of a mute woman, a mutant with multiple personalities, and a suave ghoul.

Gamers looking for new PS3 games to download this week also have a few options to choose from. The final chapter in the science-fiction arcade shooter Alien Breed 3: Descent ($10) is ready to download now. Also out now on the PSN is Space Ace ($10), the follow-up to Don Bluth's Dragon's Lair.

The last new PS3 title out this week is Days of Thunder: NASCAR Edition ($10). The racing title lets gamers take on some of the game's finest racers, including Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart. The game also boasts single-player as well as online game modes.

On-the-go gamers looking for something new can grab Ys: I & II Chronicles ($25) today from the PSN. A remake of the first two installments in the Falcon RPG series, Chronicles also boasts four difficulty levels and a time trial mode for gamers to try their hand at.
