PlayStation 4/PlayStation Vita bundle in December - Report
New "Ultimate" bundle reportedly will be released in December; no price mentioned.
A PlayStation 4/PlayStation Vita "Ultimate" bundle will be released in December sometime before Christmas, according to a report today from United Kingdom trade site MCV. An image of the bundle (below) was captured by Videogamer.
A price for the PS4/PS Vita bundle was not mentioned. The PS4 retails for $400, while the PS Vita currently sells for $200, making a price point for the bundle in the mid-$500 range likely.
In the UK at least, Sony will also run a £2.5 million TV campaign for the PS Vita this holiday called "The Best Way to Play." The advertisement will reportedly promote Remote Play and Media Molecule's adventure game Tearaway.
Sony has yet to confirm any of this information, and a company representative was not immediately available to comment.
Remote Play is a major selling point for owners of both a PS4 and PS Vita. Players can begin a game on the high-definition home console, and then continue their progress away from the system through streaming. GameSpot tested this feature and found that Remote Play has roughly a 50-foot limit.
