Amsterdam-based Playlogic International today announced that it has been awarded international publisher and developer licenses by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE). The Licensed Publisher Agreement (LPA2) and Licensed Developer Agreement (LDA2) grant the company the right to develop and publish PlayStation 2 software in a number of territories, including Europe, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East.

"With the soon-to-be-released title Cyclone Circus, we passed all necessary stages of the assessment, and we are very proud to announce that we are now an official, licensed publisher for SCEE's PlayStation 2," said Rogier Smit, COO at Playlogic. "We are looking forward to a strong and long-term relationship with SCEE."
