The hack was first noticed after another player had faced him in a match, and decided to upload the match on YouTube to show the blatant exploits in use.

Namco Bandai's Katsuhiro Harada, the company's current game director, has told EventHubs that the player in question will be banned from playing the game online. Online play within the fighting game community has often been a butt of jokes due to delayed inputs, as well as entire match outcomes being displayed differently for either player. Blatant abuse such as the above example has not been as frequent, but should undoubtedly be seen as a serious concern.
