Pirates of the Caribbean shipping

Bethesda has informed us that the Xbox and PC versions of Pirates of the Caribbean are complete and will soon be arriving in retail stores. The game was originally developed as Sea Dogs II by Akella, the Russian studio that created Sea Dogs and Age of Sail II. In March, Bethesda announced a deal with Disney to tie the game into the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl movie, which is scheduled to open on July 9.

In Pirates of the Caribbean, players will assume the role of a pirate captain and explore towns, deal with the game's six national factions, and undertake a variety of quests. The game will let players improve their ship, hire experienced crew, and engage in highly detailed 3D sea battles, among other things.
