Obsidian Entertainment and Paradox Interactive today announced that the game's second expansion, The White March - Part 2, will arrive on a little over a month from now on February 16, 2016. That's a bit of a delay, as Obsidian was previously planning to launch the expansion at the end of January.
The expansion brings about an end to the story that started with The White March - Part 1 last year. It also includes new locations to explore in the Eastern Reach, more quests, and extra abilities. The White March - Part 2 also raises the level cap and introduces a new companion: Meneha the Barbarian.
The White March - Part 2 was director by Obsidian's Josh Sawyer, who was also the game director for Fallout: New Vegas. You can get a closer look at the expansion in the teaser video above.
Pillars of Eternity was originally funded on Kickstarter. Released in March 2015, the game has now sold more than 600,000 copies. That's up from 500,000 at the end of October 2015.
