Piledriver for Xbox announced
Japanese software developer Highwaystar is currently developing a 3D action-adventure game for the Xbox.
GameSpot has learned that Japanese software developer Highwaystar is currently working on a 3D action-adventure game, under the working title Piledriver, for the Xbox. The Tokyo-based company has previously worked in the CG production of PlayStation 2 games such as Mobile Suit Gundam, Velvet File, Silpheed, and Stretch Panic and Dreamcast games such as Grandia 2. Piledriver is the first Xbox project sponsored by Microsoft KK (the Japanese subsidiary of Microsoft) and Japan Digital Contents' fund program for Xbox software development, which is much like the Incubator program Microsoft currently has in place for Western developers.
