Microsoft has released the first screenshot from the upcoming Phantom Dust re-release for Xbox One and PC, not to be confused with the scuttled brand-new Phantom Dust.

Posted by Xbox boss Phil Spencer on Twitter (via Gematsu), the image shows that the game is running at 30 FPS. Spencer captioned the image, "Having fun today." He later clarified that the image was captured on Xbox One, not Project Scorpio. "Thought this was a nice shot," he said.

As Microsoft Studios GM Shannon Loftis explained at E3 2016 where the game was announced, the Phantom Dust re-release uses assets from the 2004 original. Some "key" parts of the game have been updated, Loftis said, while there is now Xbox Live support for multiplayer.

As for a release date, this hasn't been announced yet, but Spencer said previously that the game "should ship before E3." E3 2017 officially runs June 13-15, though the event actually begins sooner, as Microsoft and Bethesda both have briefings lined up for June 11.

The Phantom Dust re-release is an Xbox Play Anywhere title. That means when it buy it digitally on Xbox One or PC, you can play it on the other system at no extra cost. Additionally, all progress and achievements move between platforms.

A sort of hybrid of card games and shooters, Phantom Dust earned an 8.5 in GameSpot's review.
