Phantasy Star Online Episode III announced

Sega announces that the next game in its popular RPG series will feature collectible cards and team-based strategic combat.

Sega has today released a list of the 20 games that it's planning to show at E3 next month, 10 of which hadn't been announced previously. One such game is Phantasy Star Online Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution, which is currently in development for the GameCube. The third game in the series will see players once again assuming the role of hunters exploring the planet Ragol, but it will feature a new style of strategic combat employing collectible cards. The game will feature both online and offline play.
