The AMD Professional Gamers League announced that nVidia's Riva family has been named the official 3D graphics processor of the PGL. NVidia products will be featured at all PGL events.

"The PGL identified nVidia as the PGL graphics processor company of choice due to their reputation for providing award-winning graphics technology," said Erik Lundberg, executive producer of the PGL. "The PGL player and fan communities are among the most demanding and voracious consumers of leading-edge technologies and thus a perfect fit for nVidia's leading-edge processors."

Gamers will be converging on San Francisco this week (Nov. 12-14) at the Diamond Multimedia Championships taking place at Club-i. "The AMD PGL is an ideal venue for nVidia to showcase its 3D processors," said Lew Paceley, vice president of corporate marketing at nVidia. "The AMD PGL's dedication to promoting a cutting-edge gaming environment matches nVidia's commitment to provide users with a stunning visual experience."

If you'd like to try out for one of the many games at the event, you can register for the league through the league's official web site.
