Update: The PES 2015 demo is now available in Europe and North America on all PlayStation and Xbox systems.
Original story: Publisher Konami has begun to release the new PES 2015 demo across various platforms and territories, and has confirmed that Europe will be the last major territory to get the game following an unexpected delay.
On Thursday September 18, a demo for the FIFA-rivalling soccer sim will launch across Japan on all PlayStation and Xbox platforms. Five days later, on September 23, the demos will unlock in the US.
However, a Konami representative has confirmed to GameSpot that a European release is now more likely to occur next week.
Yet some PlayStation owners have already found a way to unlock the demo, as it has gone live in some parts of Asia such as Hong Kong. Creating a Hong Kong PSN account therefore gives players access to the demo immediately on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. This trick cannot be performed on Xbox, however.
Konami has not disclosed plans to release a demo of the PC edition of the game.
The PES 2015 release date has been marked for November 13 across the UK, Japan, and North America.
