Persona publisher Atlus and Dragon's Crown developer Vanillaware on Monday announced a collaboration for a mysterious new high-definition game.

The game was announced through the YouTube video you can watch below. Details are light at the moment--Atlus is referring to the game only as a "new project." A teaser website states that this project will be an "HD" endeavor, though it's unclear if that means an entirely new game or a remake.

Curiously, the teaser site last week featured the phrase "From Boston," though this has now been removed.

The puzzling video ends by stating that more details will be announced in September. No venue was announced for this announcement, but the Tokyo Game Show--to be held September 17-20--seems likely.

Atlus' role-playing game Persona 5 is currently in development for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 and is scheduled to release later this year. Meanwhile, Vanillaware just recently announced the next game in its Odin Sphere franchise, called Odin Sphere: Leifdrasir. It's in development for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita.
