The animated film adaptation of the PSP/PlayStation 2 role-playing game Persona 3 will be released in Japanese cinemas on November 23.
According to the official website, Persona 3 #1: Spring of Birth may be the first in an unspecified number of films. As previously reported, the film's production was handled by animation company AIC A.S.T.A., which previously adapted Persona 4 into an anime.
On a related note, the anime adaptation of Persona 4 has already been released in North America; the first DVD collection was released on September 18 last year. For more information on Persona 3, check out GameSpot's review of the 2007 PS2 RPG.
