Atari's open road just opened up a bit wider. The publisher today announced that its upcoming next-gen title, Test Drive Unlimited, will now appear on the PC as well as the Xbox 360. Atari describes the game as a MOOR game, or massively open online racer. Driving enthusiasts will cruise the streets of Oahu in Hawaii, searching for races, collecting cars, and earning some cash. The PC version will have all the features of the Xbox 360 version, including online play. The PC edition of Test Drive Unlimited is scheduled for a fall release. For more details on the game, check out GameSpot's coverage of the Xbox 360 version.

YES THANK YOU, WHY WONT GRT4 OR PGR2 those games would look beautiful on a PC those screen shots are beautiful, i just hope my 6800 regurlar can keep a good framerate at atleast 1280 x 720 with all the graphics up on high
"Why would it look better on PC when the 360 is more powerful than the fastest PC available at the moment?" What the hell are you talking about??? Do you actually know anything on the subject?
_solidsnake_2 "hopefully it will look better than the 360 version" Erm, have you any idea how stupid that sounds? Why would it look better on PC when the 360 is more powerful than the fastest PC available at the moment? Due to bad programming thats why. So you hope this game is badly programmed, thats a VERY strange thing to wish for.
WHOA! Hoo Ya! I was looking at the screens of this game, and I was absolutely amazeed, wishing desperately to get this game. It sounds so cool. Thank you Atari! Yahoo!
grafics are better than pgr3,much better.More detail and superb image quality.pgr3 is big time overrated, I bought it 3 weeks ago and played for a few hours and it was boring and nothing special, the best racing game grafically is gt legends for know, never seen anything like it until known, gorgeous but you need a monster to run it at max
Hmm,...aracade -like,.or sim-like,...that is the question.I like the old Test Drives the best personally 1-3
I like free-roaming games, so I'm quite curious about that MMO part. Too bad it doesn't have PGR3 graphics though!
Last time I bought a Test Drive game for the PC, the game was too fast and the cars acted as if they weighed about 20 grams.
