PC Moves Into House of the Dead

Sega Entertainment has released its popular 3D arcade shooter - where gamers set off to shoot holes through walking zombies on a quest to rescue a group of scientists - for the PC.

As a gun-totting warrior, you'll blast eleven types of ghouls, collect power-ups, and choose from five types of blood. Three modes will also help gamers master the title. PC mode allows players to choose from an array of various characters depending on different strengths and weaknesses. Bossmode will give gamers an opportunity to take out bosses and discover their weak spots. Arcade mode will emulate the same experience that gamers have in arcades around the country.

The House of the Dead will support Direct3D when it releases. One question remains? How will PC gamers relive the arcade experience without a light gun?
