Paul Eddy's Flint for the PC

A Tomb Raider-style game with an actual storyline?

Comments

Pure Entertainment, based in London, announced Wednesday that the company will develop a third-person action-adventure game based on the new novel by Paul Eddy. Called Flint, the novel and game detail the adventures of Grace Flint, an undercover policewoman.

Gameplay will be similar to Tomb Raider, though the designers are trying to create a more realistic (in more ways than one) heroine, using storylines and other ideas from Eddy. Octagon Entertainment will act as an agent to set up publishing and distribution.

"Flint is an exciting opportunity for us," said Pure Entertainment's managing director Harry Holmwood. "We are now supplementing our original content with a range of high-value license products for current and next-generation platforms. Our cutting-edge technologies and creativity, coupled with the strength of storylines and characters that Paul Eddy has created, will ensure Flint has the depth of gameplay unrivaled in the marketplace."

Pure Entertainment's first title, and probably it's best known, was Lunatik for the PC. No release date was announced has been announced for Flint.
