Digital Extremes today released the multiplayer demo for its upcoming sci-fi shooter, Pariah. Eager gamers who can't wait for the game's May 3 release date can head over to GameSpot DLX to download the 316MB demo. Pariah is currently in development by Digital Extremes, the house that brought Unreal Tournament 2003 to the PC and Unreal Championship to the Xbox. Pariah is scheduled to be released next month on the PC and Xbox.

In the demo, gamers will be treated to a preview of the multiplayer portion of the first-person shooter. It features one map for each of the three different modes: team deathmatch, capture the flag, and front line assault. There are also three drivable vehicles: the Dart, Wasp, and Bogie. Gamers will select one of eight weapon "loadout" classes, each having a different set of munitions.

Pariah is rated M for Mature and will sell for $39.99 for the PC and $49.99 for the Xbox. For more information, check out GameSpot's recent hands-on with the game.
