Panzer Dragoon Orta delayed until 2003

Sega has today announced that Panzer Dragoon Orta will not ship in November as planned. The game is now scheduled for January 2003.

"Sega decided to delay the release of Panzer Dragoon Orta in order to continue adding innovative features and content to the game and its stunning back story," said Mike Fischer, vice president of entertainment marketing at Sega of America.

Panzer Dragoon Orta is the latest game in Sega's Panzer Dragoon series. In the game, players ride atop dragons as they fight through levels that have branching paths. Dragons will be able to morph in real time, allowing players to adapt their battle techniques to the immediate situation. For more details, check out our previous coverage of the game.
