Pandora Tomorrow goes online

Web site offers sneak peek of Ubisoft's next Splinter Cell installment.

Gamers had to strap on Sam Fisher's night-vision goggles again this week when Ubisoft launched the Web site for Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, the next chapter in the Tom Clancy-inspired series. To access the half-dozen screenshots and trailer on the site, visitors have to use a flash simulation of Fisher's night- and thermal-vision.

The sequel to the wildly successful Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow will follow the intrepid commando on a mission to foil a bioterror attack. The game is also being retooled for online multiplayer games, where groups of would-be Fishers can engage in stealthy missions together.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow is slated for a March 2004 release on consoles and PCs.
