Namco's golden pellet-muncher with a likely eating disorder turns 25 this year, and he's celebrating with his new platformer, Pac-Man World 3, now available for the Xbox, GameCube, PlayStation 2, and PC. Each of the games includes a special museum section featuring an interview with Pac-Man creator Toru Iwatani, a trailer for the upcoming Pac-Man World Rally, and a written chronicle of the character's life to date.

Pac-Man World 3 incorporates many of the staple gameplay elements, including power pellets, evil ghosts, and random fruit pickups, but adds some new characters and features. Now Pac-Man controls abilities like the superstomp and electric shock, and players will be able to take control of ghosts Pinky and Clyde, using their unique abilities to reach areas of the game beyond the Pac-protagonist's reach.

Pac-Man World 3 is rated E for Everyone and retails for $29.99. PSP and DS versions of the game are scheduled to arrive in stores next month.
