The closed beta will bring a new progression system, two new maps, and a new mode with it. Several heroes have received balance updates, and you'll be able to play in full A.I. matches, thanks to the updates to Private Games. The new maps and mode have not been revealed. We'll update this story as more information becomes available.

People who had access to the first beta will also be able to participate in this one. Newly-invited players can join the battle when it launches on February 9. You can sign up for the beta right here.

Blizzard is currently undecided on how it's going to handle microtransactions in its upcoming shooter. However, the developer has confirmed that all heroes and maps released after the game's launch will be completely free of charge.
