Over 100 New Pokemon Go Critters Leaked by Data Miners

Johto Pokemon and Ditto coming soon?

New Pokemon may be coming to Pokemon Go soon, if data miners on fan site The Silph Road are to be believed.

Generation 2 monsters are apparently on their way, with the game's code now referencing all 100 critters from the Johto region--all the way from #152 (Chikorita) to #251 (Celebi).

It also seems the elusive Ditto may soon be coming to a mobile device near you: the shape-shifter's signature move, Transform, has been uncovered in the game's APK file. Despite fans discovering back in July that Ditto's data did exist in the game's code, this particular Pokemon has until now not been caught by anyone.

There's no official word from Niantic as yet, though Pokemon Go data miners have been accurate in the past.

Last week, Niantic revealed its plans to introduce daily bonuses into Pokemon Go in a bid to keep Trainers playing every day, while the recent in-game Halloween event sent the summer hit straight back to the top of the App Store charts.
