Original cast to voice Stargate game

Actors Richard Dean Anderson, Michael Shanks, Amanda Tapping, and Christopher Judge will be lending their voices to Stargate SG-1: The Alliance, which is slated for release November 14 on the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC. Namco acquired the North American publishing rights to the game (JoWood will publish it in other regions), which is presently being developed by Australian studio Perception PTY.

This will be the second game effort for Richard Dean Anderson, most famous for playing Angus MacGyver, the crafty lead character in the MacGyver television series. In 1997, he voiced Killian in the first Fallout role-playing game for the PC. Christopher Judge has some game experience as well, as he voiced D-Mob in both Def Jam Vendetta and Def Jam: Fight for NY.

Stargate SG-1: The Alliance is a squad-based action game. Players control one of the four protagonists, and the remaining three tag along, obeying orders and offering their unique skills to solve problems along the way.
