Official UK game sales chart

This week's ELSPA official UK game sales chart as compiled by Chart-Track saw the arrival of a handful of eagerly awaited games, not the least of which is Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness--which knocked SOCOM: U.S. Navy Seals from the top of the chart. SCEE's innovative EyeToy: Play USB camera game entered the chart in the second position, while Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne and Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide claimed positions 13 and 16, respectively.

Most of the movement in this week's chart came about as a result of the new entries, although Midnight Club II, Brute Force, and Dynasty Warriors 4 all moved toward the bottom of the chart a little more quickly than might have been expected. Games exiting the UK top 20 this week included Midtown Madness 3, Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix, Def Jam Vendetta, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003, and The Getaway.
