Oddworld Inhabitants is nearing the completion of the development process on its North American Xbox launch game, Oddworld: Munch's Oddyssey. The game, which features two primary playable characters, Abe and Munch, spans over a variety of genres. Although an adventure game at heart, it also features healthy doses of action, strategy, exploration, and platform-style gameplay mechanics. In the game, Munch is the last remaining member of his race, which is known as the Gabbit. Munch must find a batch of lost Gabbit eggs in order to restore his race. All the while, Abe is on a quest to rescue the Mudokon mom from the evil Sligs, and as the game progresses, the two lead characters join forces to reach their respective goals.

Oddworld: Munch's Oddyssey will be released on November 8, 2001, alongside the launch of the Xbox. In the meantime, check out our latest batch of screens from the latest build of the game.
