Lucasarts and THQ announced today that Star Wars: Obi-Wan's Adventures is under development by HotGen Studios for the Game Boy Color. This will be the first release under the previously established publishing agreement between the two companies. The game is set for release in November 2000.

"We're excited to offer a Star Wars: Episode I RTS adventure to gamers on the go," said Michael Rubinelli, vice president of product development for THQ. "HotGen Studios has been working hard to bring fans the most authentic Star Wars adventure on the Game Boy Color system."

"THQ has a solid hold on the Game Boy Color market, and we look forward to collaborating with them on Star Wars: Obi Wan's Adventures," said Mark Fisher, director of product development for HotGen Studios. "Millions of Star Wars fans will have the opportunity to interact with their favorite characters in a brand-new Star Wars adventure just in time for the holidays."

The game will loosely follow the movie and lead to an ultimate showdown with Darth Maul.
