Tennis fans will be able to play against the best in the world in the upcoming World Championship Tennis from O3 Entertainment. In time to catch the attention of the Wimbledon crowd, the company announced today that it is expecting to publish the PC tennis game at the end of the summer.

Developed by Brazil-based Espaço Informática, World Championship Tennis lets players import digital photos of themselves for the character creation process. The game also features four match modes, first- or third-person perspectives, and online play. It will be released in both North and South America.

Espaço Informática specializes in games for the South American market. 03 Entertainment was founded by former Capcom president Bill Gardner to focus on publishing games by small- and medium-sized developers. Check back with GameSpot for more information on the game as it becomes available.
