According to research information released by PC Data, NovaLogic announced that three of its products in 1997 led their fields accordingly in number of games sold.

"Computer users recognize quality and high entertainment value when purchasing a PC CD-ROM game,'' NovaLogic's president, John Garcia, said in a statement. "The tremendous success of our games is a result of listening to what the customer wants and delivering it in well-researched, immersive simulations, accessible to experienced and casual computer users alike.''

Comanche 3 led the helicopter simulation category with 62,650 units sold, F-22 Lightning II led fixed-wing fighter simulation sales with 71,000 units sold, and Armored Fist 2 sold 27,000 units, leading in the tank simulation products.

NovaLogic plans to release a whopping nine titles this year, a number of them "gold" editions, which will include enhancements of the original game in question. The first to be released will be a special edition of Comanche 3 in April.
